Who is Tom Brady’s Divorce Lawyer?

Page Six reports that Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have both hired divorce attorneys. The seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback and Brazilian fashion icon married in 2009 and are parents to two children together — a son and daughter.

Reports indicate that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen may be experiencing marital tension related to his decision to unretire from the NFL in February and take an 11-day training camp sabbatical this August. Furthermore, they reportedly discuss their estate.

Tom Sasser

Rory McIlroy has hired Tom Sasser as his attorney to represent him in his divorce from Erica Stoll. Court filings reveal the Northern Irish golfer hired Sasser, an experienced celebrity divorce attorney known for representing high-profile figures like Tiger Woods in their separations with Elin Nordegren over 10 years ago and most recently Joe Jonas’ divorce proceedings with Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.

Thomas Sasser is the Managing Partner at Sasser, Cestero & Roy law firm. A graduate of William & Mary and University of Florida Levin College of Law (1996), Sasser has been practicing law for more than two decades; becoming a Florida Bar member since 1994 as well as active member in American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, American Academy of Family Lawyers and an IAFL Fellow twice over.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have been reported as discussing options regarding their marriage, hiring divorce attorneys as a precautionary step. Sources told Page Six that the seven-time Super Bowl Champion quarterback and model wife may consider separation after having been together since 2009. Together they share two children.

Sources have informed PEOPLE of marital troubles between Brady and Gisele since her decision to retire and then unretire, leading her to live apart since.

Sources report that while Bundchen and Brady enjoy an amicable relationship, she is dissatisfied with his career choices. While she was happy when he announced his intention to retire, she wasn’t happy when his plans changed and he returned to playing ball; particularly due to squabbles surrounding his return to Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season; Bundchen does not wish for their marriage to end badly, according to these sources.

Sasser & Cestero & Roy

Sasser Cestero & Roy is an award-winning, full-service family law firm serving clients throughout Florida from its West Palm Beach headquarters. Their experienced team specializes in all areas of marital and family law including divorce, child custody, support payments, alimony arrangements, equitable distribution agreements and prenuptial agreements – they take great pride in providing superior service with an impressive track record of success.

Sources tell PEOPLE that tension has been building between them for some time now, with their recent split being blamed on Brady’s decision to return to football following a brief retirement. He now plays for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and shares custody with Bundchen of two children aged 12 and 9 as well as 15 year-old son from previous marriage with Bridget Moynahan.

Bundchen has hired West Palm Beach divorce attorney Tom Sasser from Sasser, Cestero & Roy law firm as her representative during their impending separation. Sasser is known for representing high-profile athletes such as Tiger Woods in his divorce proceedings with Elin Nordegren and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon during his high profile divorce from Brooke Gordon.

Bundchen, 42, and Brady, 45, have been married since 2009 and share two 12-year-old children, Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake – each 12 at the time. According to sources close to both parties involved, Bundchen would likely seek joint custody of her kids should their relationship ever become problematic or dissolve completely.

Should they decide to separate, they’ll face many obstacles during their divorce proceedings, including dividing up multimillion-dollar assets and determining custody arrangements for their children. Jacqueline Newman of Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein LLP advises PEOPLE that it is likely they have in place a prenuptial agreement which may help smooth things over more quickly during proceedings.
